GAP Connah S Quay FC's Communications Director Nik Mesney has been a vital part of the club's success for over a decade. He first got involved with the club in 2007, when Gary Dewhurst purchased the team. Mesney was working for Dewhurst at the time and was asked to help with the website and photography side of the club. He jumped at the opportunity and has been an integral part of the team ever since.

Mesney's roles and responsibilities have evolved over the years. He originally started out with looking after the website and social media channels. When the existing photographer retired, Mesney stepped into the photography role as well. Due to the size of the club, everyone chips in and takes on various roles. Mesney has assisted in designing and choosing kits, designing branding for sponsor banners, and attending UEFA competition draws in Geneva.

One of the highlights of Mesney's time at GAP Connah S Quay FC has been photographing the team lifting silverware. He has also been a part of the off-field staff on UEFA matchdays, attending pre-match meetings alongside delegates from the opposing team.

Mesney's dedication and passion for the club have been instrumental in its success. He is a shining example of the importance of volunteering in sports and the impact it can have on a team's success.
