In the 12th minute, GAP Connah S Quay FC had their first big chance. H. Franklin received a precise pass, evaded his marker, and unleashed a powerful shot, which was saved by the opposing goalkeeper. Despite the pressure, the Nomads fought to maintain control and limit the visitors' chances, largely thanks to a solid defensive performance from D. Cowan and D. Liepa.

As the second half progressed, The New Saints gained momentum, scoring in the 67th minute. However, the home side did not back down; C.
