European Debut
In the third round of the 2014‑15 Welsh Cup, Caernarfon Town faced Welsh Premier champions TNS on 30 November 2014. Thomas opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a sharp turn near the halfway line and a powerful finish from the edge of the D. A wall collapsed behind the goal, causing a brief delay, but the match resumed with TNS dominating. Three goals in seven minutes gave TNS a half‑time lead and they held on to win the tie.
Thomas later captained Caernarfon in their first European campaign. The club beat Crusaders of Northern Ireland 2‑0 at home, then lost 3‑1 away, but progressed on penalties to the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.
Domestic Dominance
During the 2012‑13 season, Thomas scored 23 goals in 27 games as Caernarfon Town won the 2 Cymru Alliance title, losing only one of 28 matches. He reached 100 goals for the club that season and was instrumental in the team’s record 6‑0 FAW Trophy final victory over Kilvey Fords at Latham Park, Newtown.
Thomas’s hat‑trick at The Oval in the 2025‑26 Welsh Cup final was a highlight of the campaign. He struck first with a low finish past keeper Alex Lang, then a bullet that rebounded off Lang’s back, and capped the set‑piece with a left‑foot finish in a 5‑1 win over the opposition.
Cup Triumphs
Thomas also starred in a 4‑0 win at Ammanford in the Welsh Cup, scoring twice. One of his goals was later voted Goal of the Season on Sgorio. In the 2025‑26 Welsh Cup final at Rodney Parade, Newport, Thomas came on as a second‑half substitute as Caernarfon swept past Flint Town United 3‑0, securing the club’s first Welsh Cup title.
International Recognition
Beyond club success, Thomas earned a cap for Wales C. He appeared as a substitute in a 4‑0 victory over England C, with Will Evans and Aeron Edwards each scoring twice.
Thomas’s career is marked by decisive goals, leadership on the field, and a record of consistency that has made him a beloved figure in Caernarfon Town history.
